Client: Alliance to End Plastic Waste  Event Type: Industry Conference

The Alliance, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity, has a clear mission: to end plastic waste in the environment. Global in scope and local in action, they wanted a different feel for this digital strategy conference and turned to Hargrove to deliver an activation-like event with an XM vibe. The environment needed to create a dramatic background for why the Alliance was formed and the event design needed to keep the members excited and engaged.

An event and environment strategically and creatively designed specifically to build relationships among communications teams.

Hargrove’s holistic creative strategy started with the venue selection. We guided the Alliance to several urban-chic venues from which they selected a converted industrial space. We transformed the floor plan by designing seven function-focused spaces that fostered both personal and digital communications and connections. Each area provided a unique opportunity for engagement and collectively provided flexibility to address the various ways the attendees worked and interacted.

Hargrove provided pre-show and creative strategy counsel along with design AND full technical and live production through our parent company PSAV.

This two-day inaugural summit united project leaders and ignited great conversations to better encourage the world to #endplasticwaste.
