Historic Venue Turned Awards Gala

To recognize those who have made significant contributions to spaceflight, Purdue University created its newest honor, the Neil Armstrong Space Prize. With the goal of celebrating the honorees and paying tribute to Armstrong, Purdue was looking for an event partner to produce a special event gala at the iconic National Building Museum. 

Hargrove provided full event production for the event, transforming the iconic National Building Museum into a dynamic stage for storytelling and celebration. The venue, a historic and expansive space, required careful planning to transform it into a stage worthy of honoring space exploration, while also providing flawless production for high-profile guests.

From scenic and staging to graphics and show calling, the team delivered a seamless experience that captured the spirit of exploration and marked the launch of Purdue’s prestigious new award.
